I stayed up late into the morning working on this cover to try and beat some pre-tour anxieties. Nowhere near as good as the original and I feel kind of guilty for even trying because I had to drastically simiplify the song-long solo because I’m actually a really terrible guitar player, but this has been one of my absolute favourite songs / bands ever since I discovered them on the Pillows and Prayers compilation when I was 15 or 16, so I still had fun with it it. Fun facts: I’m pretty sure this is the first recording I’ve ever made with a real bass guitar. Samples Atlas Sound and Coma Cinema for drums.
